L.O.V.E Our Community removes barriers by coordinating opportunities for professionals to volunteer as individuals or families, and connects them with volunteer roles that best align with their passion and schedule. We offer two avenues for these individuals, event volunteers or capacity-building volunteers.
EVENT VOLUNTEERS
YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
As an event volunteer, you can decide to participate in one of our activities by checking out our events calendar and following the signup procedures. Event volunteers have the opportunity to explore a variety of events and programs without a significant time commitment, we highlight some of those activities here.

- Meal Prep and Distribution
CAPACITY BUILDING VOLUNTEERS
As a capacity-building volunteer you can use your passions and skills to help grow L.O.V.E Our Youth’s impact in the community. We have four capacity-building teams that could use your expertise:
- Resource Development manages grants and fundraising opportunities
- Program Development plans and executes various programs and activities for our youth
- Volunteer Management manages onboarding and retention of our valued volunteers
- Communications Management supports our internal and external communication needs; this includes marketing and public relations.
