The application for the youth advisory board is designed to be accessible and inclusive, with openings available year-round. However, it’s important to note that spots on the board are limited, and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. While the application process is ongoing, positions may be filled as suitable candidates are chosen.
For over a decade L.O.V.E. Our Youth has been bringing together communities in the same boat, rowing in the same direction, creating an environment where our youth can learn, grow, and thrive.
Why a Youth Advisory Board?
Who better to develop programs for youth than the youth? The East Orlando Youth Advisory Board is designed to promote the safe and healthy development of tweens and teens, aged 12 to 18, enabling them to achieve optimal adulthood by fostering independence, self-sustainability, and active participation as vibrant contributing members of the community.
Who Is It For?
The East Orlando Youth Advisory Board is for 8-11th-grade students who reside in East Orlando and want to make a difference in their community.
As a Youth Advisory Board member you are looking to:
